What you can (and can't) use the foo server for

First of all, read the FooRules. Also read the ProjectCharter if you understand Norwegian as this explains the background of the project.

Currently the following services are (or will be shortly) available for NemoMembers:

  • RootAccess - if you need it (currenty only for admins)
  • ShellAccount - get a login shell on foo
  • WebHosting - host your own (and others') web sites
  • MailServer - use foo to handle your email
  • NameServerAdmin - manage DNS records (IP addresses) for your domains
  • MailingLists for help and support on unix, web design, mail administration etc
  • DataBases - powerful RDBMS systems, usable for websites and other projects
  • SourceRepository - source revision control system for own projects

See TodoOnFoo for list of planned issues, and NewServices for discussions for the future.
